It has happened again,
another Rich Pastor has requested that his members foot the repair
bill on one of his luxury toys. Dr. Mark T. Barclay last month sent out a
letter asking members to cover the $79,000 price tag to re-paint his Citation III jet.
When we read the money
request letter one of my team members could not contain her laughter when she
discovered, that Pastor Barclay used Mathew 6:19-21 to justify the church
paying for the new luxury jet paint job.
19 Lay not up for
yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where
thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in
heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not
break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart
be also.
There you have it Ladies
& Gentlemen – his jet is in danger of rust, and according to Barclay
there’s a scripture for that. We had no knowledge of this guy until this email
dropped in today, and we now stand amazed that we miss one. It’s no joking
matter when you visit his website, and see all of the super natural non-sense
he specializes in. He even has a supernatural institute titled -Supernatural
Ministries Training Institute.
I am not going to say
much on this one because a member of Barclay’s congregation has provided us
with everything we needed to qualify him as Pimp Preacher of the week. Straight
from the Pews of Mark Barclay Ministries.
PLEASE HELP!!!
Prophet/pastor Dr. Mark
T. Barclay is a preacher out of Midland Michigan, USA that is currently under the
discernment radar. The reason I believe that he is so dangerous to the body of
Christ is because he travels around the states in his private jet claiming to
be a "pastor for pastors." Pastors of small to medium sized churches
tithe to him and teach his doctrines. He indoctrinates pastors with word of
faith/dominion theology and in turn they indoctrinate their congregations.
Although he is largely
unknown, he is personal friends with the Copelands, Jessie Duplantis, and Mac
Hammond. He ministers at their churches. This adds to the appeal for smaller
pastors and congregations to follow him. When he arrives in small towns on his
Citation III jet with his entourage, people feel like they are part of
something big.
I was involved in a
church under his control in Minnesota. although our congregation at the time
was small (around 300-400 people) we had ushers that walked around with radios
and earpieces policing the services. Our pastor and his wife also had
"armor bearers" (personal attendants) that pretty much wait on them
hand and foot. Everything is Dr. Barclay this and Dr. Barclay that.
People in my ex-church
have pretty much submitted their lives to the pastor and Dr. Barclay. Due to
all of the control, many people have left the faith all together. Many families
have been split apart due to divorce, and there are still some blinded people
who remain.(The ones who remain arent allowed to associate with the
"rebellious" people who left the church)
This man and his
theology of dominion, word of faith heresy, and pulpit pimping have hurt many
people in my small town. If you ask anyone in town about Word of Life Church in
Hutchinson, Mn they will tell you it is a cult.
There is so much about
Dr. Barclay's ministry that is unbiblical or extra biblical. Nobody dares
question Him. Some of my friends have challenged some of the teachings only to
be threatened and shut up by our pastor for even questioning "God's
Anointed".
As always – we back up
our headline with actual proof of the abuse. Listed below is the actual letter
sent out to church members requesting $79k. I didn’t know there was no more
hunger, homelessness, poor widows, nor any foreclosures pending foreclosures in
the State of Minnesota.
