Kirk Franklin Storms Ghana for Adom Praize August 3rd, 2013

Multiple award-wining, world-renowned gospel artiste, Kirk Franklin is scheduled to minister in Ghana on August 03rd this year.
Kirk Franklin would be in the Ghanaian capital city Accra as the headline artiste for this year’s edition of Adom Praize which is Ghana’s biggest gospel show.

The praise event began in 2009 and has brought some top toch notch international acts such as Cece Winans in 2010 and Ron Kenoly in 2011. Adom Praize has also been a platform to showcase some of Ghana’s homegrown gospel artistes who are rising in prominence on the same stage with international acts. Take Cwesi Oteng for example, who has now become more than a Ghanaian gospel icon to consistent airplay on Praiseworld Radio, Africa’s number 1 Internet Gospel radio station, and receive several nominations in this year’s edition of the Africa Gospel Music Awards.

This year wouldn’t be any different with the man who brought a revolution in several ways to the global gospel music industry.

Kirk Franklin won’t be alone on stage as he is to be backed up by an 11-man band ministering several songs from the 11 albums he has released so far.

Kirk Franklin is a recipient of 9 Grammy Awards, 39 Stellar Awards, 16 Dove Awards, 2 BET Awards, to mention a few.

He is also the host of the popular show, Sunday Best on BET and has just been announced as host for a new reality show to begin on the same network later this year, called Gone Gospel.

Kirk has been married to longtime-friend Tammy since January 1996, and they have four children.
Adom Praize takes place at Perez Dome (formerly Word Miracle Chapel), Dzor Wulu Junction, Accra, beginning at 6:30pm, GMT. The event is organized by Adom FM, Ghana.

So with Kirk ministering in Accra on Saturday August 3rd, any chance Kirk would stop by in Nigeria. It’s not that far you know, just about an hour thirty- minute flight in-between. Can a church in Nigeria pull a ‘Holy-Ghost stunt’ and bring him over? #JustSaying Lol!
